Premier Inn Chester (Railway Station)

The Premier Inn bed lived up to expectations as the best around for sleep quality. Breakfast was good. The hotel is well located for the railway station, there are several restaurants in the vicinity and it is an easy walk to the city centre. A bottle of water in the room would be welcome

I have stayed here before and it never disappoints - wonderfully ran by two great Managers. Perfectly situated close to the town centre and the train station, spotlessly clean rooms and just a genuine warm atmosphere throughout the hotel. We stayed for dinner and some drinks, food was great and well priced - Kasia behind the bar was lovely, excellent service and all with a smile 🌟

Excellent room, newly refurbished or that what it looks like. Stylish and comfortable. Clean. Bed is superb. Great location in the centre of Chester. Very good value. Only drawback is lack of parking. Parking in the station carpark is expensive.

I stayed here for 1 night. as I was working in the area and needed a place to stay that was not over expensive and near the train station. Compared to other hotels within the area that I looked at, this one was one of the cheapest and you generally know what you are getting with a Premier Inn. My room was clean, spacious and had all the things that I needed, including plug sockets by the bed. There were no issues with my room and I had a good night sleep. Breakfast was standard buffet style and I had no issues. The only issue that I did find was that, as Premier Inn are obviously keeping staff costs down the the staff members appear to cover reception and the bar which meant having to wait a while to get served at the bar. However, the Hotel is a short walk from the station and into town, where there are a variety of pubs and places to eat. I would stay here again for work and for visiting Chester.

stayed here before and loved our premier plus room, this time there were only standard rooms, I thought theyd be alright - i had too high expectations. Our double bed was a "zip-link" bed (two twin matresses which were meant to be zipped together) The beds were in fact not* zipped together and my partner and I could feel the uncomfortable crack between the beds all night. The standard room was so much smaller than the premier plus room, we felt crammed in a storage cupboard! There isnt a good way to dispose of fast food boxes, the bin in the room is small but the housekeeping didnt take our empty pizza boxes :( Breakfast was a bit hectic, staff told us to walk in and find a table, but there wasnt one free! had to stand around looking like ****** for 10 minutes before one opened up. The drinsk and cereal bar was stocked well, but the pancakes and muffins were scarce. Chairs by the bar were not comfortable in the slightest, and weird smells in the corridors around the hotel... i had half a mind to buy my own febreeze! Reception staff were lovely though, expecially the nights team when I requested more toilet paper and towels.

Very good location,staff very friendly and room nice and clean. Comfortable bed was the best and I liked big shower in the room instead of the bath. Room could have more desk/table space and we wasn't very impressed with the breakfast. Overall good price for good night sleep.
